Workable Evangelism

A Focus on Evangelism
Serving as a United Methodist pastor for many years and working in a variety of settings across the church, I realized more and more that the most important focus the church needs today is making disciples of Jesus Christ. In other words, our focus needs to be on Evangelism!

Because I want to make this my main focus, I have combined three excellent resources together and developed one-day conferences on Evangelism Training which I do at your church!

Three Excellent Resources:
  • My book, Needs-Based Evangelism (now in its third printing) -- a practical, attainable way that really works and you can use it to reach new people and keep them as strong disciples and leaders.
  • The Go Fish! series of 3 books on evangelism by the United Methodist Publishing House written by Kent Millard, Adam Hamilton and myself. My book is on how we share our faith - a practical and effective way in a highly secular culture that is loving and grace-centered, not arrogant and self-righteous.
  • UMCom’s new “Rethink Church”campaign – In partnership with United Methodist Communications we use this new well-developed concept of learning to see your church in a new way and start being the church in the world, not just talking about it!

  • Done on either a Saturday or Monday - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The training includes my teaching and many helpful materials.
